Saw rumblings across social media that Plant has a “big fight” lined up next, but no names were mentioned. Anyone have any educated guesses? Charlo won’t move up to 168 after being out for two years to face Plant, at least I don’t think. Andrade, maybe? Stylistically, it’s a great matchup and makes good sense. Morrell, possibly? Though I believe Morrell sleeps Plant. BJS has been making claims of returning; I can see it as a good tune up for both fighters.
I just hope it’s an actual big fight; boxing is on something of an upswing (recent controversies aside) and I hope these big fights continue to get made.
