  • Comments Thread For: Rolando Romero-Ohara Davies Mandatory 140-Pound Title Fight Ordered By WBA

Rolando Romero will not have the luxury of selecting his next title challenger. The recently crowned WBA junior welterweight titlist was instructed to enter a 30-day negotiation period with England's Ohara Davies for a mandatory title defense that was officially ordered Monday. The sanctioning body informed both parties of the ruling, thus killing plans for any other fight eyed by Romero and his team.

Both are limited fighters but Rollie is worse and has much less experience, Ohara Davis KOs Rollie inside 8.

I think we’ll see the Garcia-Romero ppv next, everyone knows damn well they better cash Rollie out.

In terms of boxing Davies is levels above Rolly, the only deciding difference is the level of ***** Davies has within himself, every interview I see of that guy he's still crying about things from the past and he seems to be a mental midget. I still see him beating Romero but this fight probably won't happen the WBA will allow Rolly to fight Garcia in a money fight instead.

Rolly should vacate and fight Ryan Garcia.

I wanna see Rolly vs Ryan, it's a big draw for those who aren't hard-core boxing fans.

They might pay step aside money to Ohara and face Garcia. He will have a shot at the winner if they don't vacate and it would be a good scenario for him.

WBA about to miss out on a serious check, they better resolve this.

Ryan will move onto Teo Lopez
