Is that right? What were you implying when you were whining about why Boxingscene members blast Wilder for threatening ring ****cide but say nothing about Teofimo? What was that alleged double standard about?

If Wilder is trash for what he said, Teo should also be trash.

Instead, I see replies that it's worse from Wilder because he's a heavyweight.

The unstable Teofimo Lopez is now upping the stakes with his rhetoric. No longer is it enough for him to win the fight. No longer is it enough for him to separate Josh Taylor from his consciousness.

No, Lopez intends to send Taylor’s soul off of this mortal plane. It is my humble opinion that Lopez is talking big to try to psych himself up.

As fans of both of these fighters, I can’t help but wonder if we are about to see something along the lines of Tyson - Holyfield II, or Lewis - McCall II.

Something doesn’t feel right about Teo, and I could envision him losing the fight due to some sort of bizarre action due to a psychotic break or an otherwise loss of control.

With the odd feelings I pick up everytime Teo talks, I can’t help but wonder if his life is shaping up to be some sort of tragic tale that we will one day watch documentaries about.

Agree. Eerily similar to Edwin Valero, who also had spouse problems and mental health issues. Hope this doesn’t take that kind of tragic turn eventually.
