I'm glad he made himself involved, Okolie is a bum and seemed like he was playing football in there, not boxing.

Why wouldn't he accept the decision? He has a rematch clause! CBS was a voluntary defense.

I'm not too bothered by fighters being sore losers, as long as they provide entertaining performances. Okolie being a gentleman post-fight does not make me excited for the rematch or for ANY of his fights.

I hope they have that same ref or a similar no nonsense type for the rematch. If Lawrence Cole or Weeks had been the ref, Okolie might have wrestled his way to a win.

You're joking right? The ref was incredibly lenient with all the holding. Okolie in a lesser event would have been disqualified and should have at least been deducted more points.

The fight was more like wrestling than boxing. Nearly every solo punch or combo was followed by an attempt to grab.

This wasn't a great look for Sugar Hill either as he hasn't been able to change Okolie at all. It should have been a routine win for Okolie as CBS was just walking into range all night and was there to be hit, but Okolie looked to hold every time after getting his punches off instead of just moving off. The first knockdown was a good shot and was because CBS knew Okolie would step in to hold after throwing, the 2nd and 3rd were similar but were slightly lucky to be called knockdowns. They probably wouldn't have been called knockdowns in any other fight but the referee had probably had a gutful of Okolie's antics and probably thought calling a knockdown was better than docking even more points. Maybe Okolie is not capable of learning not to grab as he definitely wasn't changing even with the hard warnings and points deductions.
