That was good by Wood, nice and smooth boxing. That was the way to win, make it nice and a bit boring.

You think Floyd worried about the crowd later in his career? Nope, if you outbox an opponent for twelve rounds instead of win by ko, a win is a win.

Dang, wanted to see Bronco Lara win via KO, cong**** to Wood for his dominating performance.

If Lara doesn't move up, it be interesting to see Conlan vs Lara.

outside of Lara landing a big shot, he hasn't really got the overall ability to beat Wood. I think that much is evident over the 19 rounds they have fought

and why are we talking about Lara and his weight? he didn't even try to make weight, so he should have been at an advantage. it was wood that killed himself to make weight.
                This is what I'm thinking.

Before the fight everyone was saying that Lara has a big advantage of coming in almost a full division heavier and not having to cut weight, while Wood had to do that. That is a HUGE advantage.

Lara was losing the first fight, was hurt in that fight and was gassed. Now in this fight he was once again hurt (and dropped), lost almost every round and all of a sudden the excuses start pouring in that he was "weight drained"!! WTF?? Then other excuses that he must have hurt his foot or leg because his balance was off....Like his balance was not off in the first fight? His balance sucks because he wings haymakers and he doesn't have good feet. Wood was bothering him a lot with body shot in this fight and the first fight. That's why Lara couldn't muster the strength and courage to attempt much. He knew he could get KO'd because Wood had hurt him a few times in the first fight and this fight.

Some guy on this forum mentioned something about "momentum bias" or words something to that effect. It's a term that refers to people's bias about how previous rounds have played out or previous fights have played out and even though the current round and fight is playing out better (or differently) people (boxing fans) and commentators will still be using the past tell them what is happening in the current round or current moment. It's almost as though viewers can't accept what is happening before their eyes in the present moment, so they stay stuck in the past for awhile until they're forced to accept what is ACTUALLY happening right now in this moment. You can always see that in the comment section of the RBR thread. In this fight, for example, people kept on saying that Lara was doing better than he was early in the fight and they said Wood was fading and Lara would catch up and KO him after a few rounds or later in the fight. After Wood banked a bunch of rounds and Lara still looked like crap, the forum started to catch up to what was happening (Lara was clearly getting beat). So they started accepting reality, but it took a long time for them to catch up to what was actually happening. AND...even when they were starting to accept that Wood was winning and Lara would likely get beat, they started making excuses as to why Lara was getting beat. It's a severe case of denial. All of us humans seem to be afflicted with it but it can be almost impossible to convince someone that they are in denial.

I said it before that Lara can be outboxed. Good for Wood that he could keep declined and keep with the game plan.

If Conlan continues his career, I don't see them putting him in with anybody with power for a while

Exactly! This is what biased fans don't understand is this was the same Lara as the last fight, he has NO Boxing IQ! Outside of that one punch, Wood dominated Lara both times. Wood made Lara look even sloppier this time.
