Except he got stopped in brutal fashion don't forget that. He won today but even with a out of shape Lara there for the taking he wasn't even close to stopping him. Let's see if he wants to unify against Venado Lopez.

yes because its boxing and 1 punch can change anything. lara won at most 2 rounds the entire 16-17 rounds they fought. my point is wood is clearly superior. he can fight in more than 1 way. lara knows only one way and hes now been exposed.

Lol ok there's no point in going back and forth if you don't realize they fought 19 rounds and Lara definitely won some rounds in the first fight, this fight I only gave him 2.

I see you added on to your original post but doesn't change anything they are 1-1 hard to call the other that much superior when one of the guys didn't even come to fight the 2nd time around. Wood boxed him clean I have no issue with the decision and I place the blame on Lara.

Yeah, I agree with everything you said. Lara was getting whooped in the first fight and was gassed by the 5th round. Wood is a much better fighter than Lara.

He played it safe and never had to engage because Lara couldn't bring anything. I think Wood certainly could have upped the pace and stopped Lara, but it would have been a big risk. I'm not gonna fault him for going the conservative route after the last fight, knowing he was in full control. I assume we'll definitely get Wood vs Warrington next, which is a different style of fight, curious to see how that one goes

idk what the **** Warrington has done to even earn a title shot lol. Besides getting knocked out by Lara, the rematch between Lara and warrington was headed in the same direction as the first. And losing to Lopez????
