Yeah, I left that important part out of my reply, about that style wise Haney vs Prograis wouldn't trump Prograis vs Matias.

The fight was very bad, to be honest. Lopez sucks, he throws wide open punches all the time. Fight like that at 147 or higher and you get knocked out ice cold. Fight like that at cruiserweight and somebody will beat you to death.

I don`t know why are people pretending Lopez is some master boxer, he clearly isn`t, Conlan is even worse, the low division wars are highly overrated sometimes.

why do you think it is that there are no technically proficient fighters at lower weights? There are loads - Lopez will meet his match. Very athletic fighters can get away with poor technique because their reflexes and athleticism keeps them out of trouble until it doesn't - classic case being Hamed. But, its not limited to lower weight fighters - Joe Joyce is athletic enough to do back flips - poor form and an iron chin kept him safe until they didn't.

I've got Matias in that - Prograis is past prime now. If it was the Prograis who fought Taylor then I give him the edge - his inactivity wil come back to bite him. Great fight though. If Haney fights anyone else at 135 apart from Stevenson or Tank its a duck - if he comes up to 140 then let it be against Teo or Taylor winner - if the Taylor who unified is still around he beats Teo and Devin .

Conlon should possibly think about retiring obviously he’s still young I know. He was a brilliant amateur boxer a very long career there. These last two knockdowns could easily be life threatening. Go into business with his brother promoting or something.

I agree. He has made more money than most, and is still healthy. He will not beat any of the top guys, and will only get hurt. If I were him, I'd call it a successful carrer, and do something else like spend his well earned money.
