  • Does Erik Morales' career hang in the balance?

Unfortunately for Erik “El Terrible” Morales, his entire professional career and all of his achievements may rest in the balance of his bout on Saturday with Manny Pacquiao. By beating the man who stopped Barrera and the fighter who many feel is the hottest boxer in the world today Morales can put the polish back on a career that has lost a touch of its luster.

Yeah right. Fight fans look at Morales and see nothing but shine baby. He's given everything he's got and that's all you can ask. His career is what it is .... enviable to most other fighters. He lost no lustre in his last fight with Barrera.

Morales is a first ballot hall of famer in his own right, winning or losing. So no.

The only person Morales has ever lost to is MAB and those fights were all out wars. How could you say he's lost any luster? I think his losses have done more for his popularity than most of his wins...

I hardly think that a loss to Pac would be the end for Morales. He's accomplished way too much for that! Many of us will GLADLY watch him fight , regardless of who he's fighting, and how many times he loses. One more loss wont change that.

Morales really lost to Guty Espadas, even though the Arum Judges saw it the other way.
