Would Marquez get credit for beating Hatton???

I know it's unlikely that Hatton will come back but I've seen everything from he was an overrated bum to past prime to completely shot on these boards when Pacquiao beat him. In the event that he does come back to face Marquez....would and should Marquez get credit for beating him??? And what if Hatton beats Marquez???

I don't see how Marquez is going to top what Pacquiao did, respectfully. Pacquiao basically outclassed Hatton in every department and ended it in a quick and devastating fashion.

No. And people that would give him credit for it are ******. I wouldn't complain about the fight if it happened for JMM's benefit financially. But can't he at least fight Katsidis first? Hatton was KOd cold in his last fight and the guy is not in fighting condition at all. He is at the lowest point you can get. That's why I don't think the fight will happen anyway.

Hatton wasn't overrated, he was really good. My belief is that, he lost his punch resistance. Good opponent for Marquez to come back against, a confidence builder.

I believe Hatton IS really good and I dont believe he lost his punch resistance at all. Pacquiao just hits really really hard. While not necessarily the biggest puncher.....he was by far the hardest hitting fighter Hatton had ever faced.

I believe what Hatton has lost though is his will to fight.

hatton should at least get a chance to fight a tune up first to fix his habit of ****ing his hands back.

hatton's not overrated, his style just isn't a style that lasts.
