Not always possible to KO, but boxers can always drop a guy. If I couldn't drop a guy, I would never complain about a decision. Gotta be focused, in shape, trained and aggressive.
What’s the old adage we hear all the time? It looks easy from outside the ring until you get in the ring.
Every single guy that has fought anyone says exactly what you said until they get beat.

Although I also had Tank winning by KO with or without the clause. What the clause did for me was led me to stop being neutral for this fight and root for Ry instead of being ok with either guy winning.
But, imo, Tank winning was a foregone conclusion regardless. There’s nothing Ry does better than Tank.

Tank is the better fighter as it is, then add the weight issue. If doesn't make it a 50 50 fight. Imagine if Loma had given Haney a rehydration clause. That would have been bull****.

Davis did the same when he fought Barrios, but boxingitis wasn't aware that Garcia wasn't Davis' first opponent who had to deal with weight shenanigans. It's good to keep track of the situations in which A-sides abuse their power.

By chosing Lopez Loma was going for the 4th belt, his team thought WBC would wait and they were wrong, as usual.
So I think That's what Dude meant by saying Loma chose to go the undisputed route.

A rehydration clause is actually still more advantageous to bigger guys compared to same day weigh-ins. Think about that before whine about this nonsense
Yes but why Haney wasn't fighting someone his own size last week?
Because boxing rules are circus and the A side can manipulate those rules as they want as long as they pay the commissions.
Boxing is the only sport with garbage catchweight, sanctionned youtuber pro fights, rehydration clause, or 36 hours weigh in.
You say Garcia should fight people his own size, talk about same day weigh in but you defend Haney fighting Loma with 36 hours to rehydrate.
Double standard...
