I'd be down for Haney-Loma II because it was a really good fight, high-speed chess match, and no one is talking about that but I doubt it happens. I'm all for Tank-Loma or Shakur-Loma and Haney fighting the winner of Teo-Taylor.

They probably would offer a rematch, but at 140 lbs. I don't think Loma wants to go up in weight any further.

Haney is a fine fighter, just not as big box office as Tank, but neither is Shakur or Loma.

I cant see Haney rematching Loma given how hard it was for him to make weight. I cant see Loma going to 140 for a rematch.

Haney may as well retire. He can’t make 135 anymore and he can’t take a big punch. He was doing bambi moves from Loma’s punches so a real 140 pounder is gonna put an abrupt end to The Dream.

I disagree, sometimes those "bambi" moves don't necessarily mean he can't take a punch and could be just the weight drain (reference when Canelo got clocked by Cotto's brother, never happened again after he moved up). I believe Haney learned a lot from this fight and will make adjustments going forward
