I don’t think he was serious. It seems like the interviewer asked him if he would ever fight Canelo. Spence said yeah he would like that but right now his focus is on Spence.

Just a ****** question by the reporter to try to make headlines. And a ******, throwaway answer by Spence.

He isn’t skipping 154 and 160 to fight at 168. The most I can see Spence going up for is probably Munguia at 160. There’s also an old GGG up there if he can catch him on his way out soon. But 168? That’s just talk.

He should go for it. He lost out on about 5 fights between the accident and the eye. Its time to cash out. Errol is big and tired of cutting weight.

If errol beats Bud for undisputed. I would jump straight to 160 and fight for the wba or ibf since ggg vacated both. Plus jermall is about to vacate the wbc as well by next year. If successful at 160. Then canelo at 164

4 fights and done. Get out at age 35

Its all too late for that by the time Spence can get past TC and into the bigger weightclasses Canelo will be pretty much done, the narrative has been out there ever since Spence said he would like to fight Canelo years ago, its not going to happen its too late and if it did Canelo would be shot by then.

Because Bivol beat him? Bivol would beat everybody Canelo has ever fought.
The Canelo that fought Bivol was slower than the old Canelo. I'm not saying that the old Canelo would have beat Bivol, especially the way Canelo was outclassed, but I do believe he would have made it a closer fight. Not to argue though since it is just my opinion.

Spence would get badly beaten by Janibek at 160. I also believe that old GGG still beats Spence.

So you guys think Spence is such a p4p material that he can just win the titles in higher divisions like that..I would love to see it.

Spence could beat canelo and outwork him if he doesn't stop him.
