The only one that beats Tank is Tank himself by doing something foolish outside the ring. Stevenson would have the best chance but that assumes that he could outpoint Gervonta and avoid his massive shots. Haney would certainly lose to Tank and Stevenson. I've never seen anyone with the "lights out" power that Gervonta Davis has in his weight division. I mean, it's absolute "nite-nite" when he connects.

To be the champ you've got to beat the champion, I mean really beat the championship. Go in there and take those belts aways. Hands down the winner. No arguments, clear as day. Loma didn't do that.

I would agree with you on this statement. That's why I thought a draw would have been better.

Yer, it could have gone that way.

That's not what that saying means. That comes from the fact that the champion keeps the belts in case of a draw. You only become the champion with a win. It doesn't mean you have to win a wide decision or some BS like that. Plenty of champions became champs on the dubious strength of a controversial split decision, or in very close fights.

Thinking like this is exactly what fuels the false belief that close rounds go to the champ and other nonsense like that. The round goes to the fighter who won the round. If it's too close to pick a winner, it's supposed to be scored even. If it's a very dominant round, it's a 10-8, unless there's knockdowns scored. A knockdown scored in a round that was otherwise being dominated by the person knocked down might still be scored even.
