This wouldnt have been as bad if he would have faced usyk or aj in his last fight but the fact it was a soft fight against his buddy chisora makes it 2 soft ones in a row. Neither of those guys good enough to beat a top 15 opponent.

I'm not saying it's good but there is precedent for this. Ali did this too when he toured Europe, the whole reign of Floyd Patterson was this caliber of opponent less Ingo who was a cherry pick who went bad and of course Liston who he couldn't duck any longer and have any credibility.

Those guys fought more than once a year.

I think a lot of people would be okay with light defenses if fans got the fights that we want most of the time.
