He can rebound, but he is going to have to work had in order to gain back a lot of people's respect back.

A lot of people, sure, but not mine. I had mad respect for him ever since I first saw him on the Pacquiao-DLH undercard last year, and that respect never disappeared anywhere.

IMO all he did 'wrong' was say a few words in a manner that didn't quite come out right. He messed up his lines, so to speak, but he still put on a good show out there in that ring despite the quittage.

Whenever he makes his return, I'll be straight up in here rooting for the lad. He's got a good heart (outside of boxing) and he's a very likeable individual. There's plenty of improvements to be made, and he has bags of years ahead of him to do so.

...there was no way you could tell whether cotto was telling his corner to stop it or not stop it,it looked either way to me not unless you could read his mind....like i said cotto gave what he had before the stoppage......ortixz did'nt......most who quit like ortiz did had accomplished great thinbgs already like duran,ortiz has'nt done ****!

Anyone can get an alphabet, but he sure as hell won't be Golden Boy II. His chin is average and his defense isn't good enough to prevent being KD by a raw power puncher like Maidana, in this division Ortiz is bound to get KOd a few times.
