And that fight was great, regardless of who quit. I would say it deserves to be a FOTY candidate, actually.

I agree with the whole "such and such" quit...

but none in the fashion that he did..and not only was that the bad part..because I'm nobody to tell another man that he hasn't had enough in a fight..only he knows himself and if he could continue..what really pissed me off was that he acted happy and was talkin about quitting the sport talkin about he's too young to be taking those beatings..that **** was GAY!...

I'm still a fan..no doubt..he's a top 10 in my list..as far as my current faves..but he lost mad respect with that post fight interview he gave.

I like the kid..he just lost ONE FIGHT. I believe that he is a good boxer. He will be back, I don't write athletes off after one bad performance. True Story

He can rebound, but he is going to have to work had in order to gain back a lot of people's respect back.

dont compare him to cotto pls.....cotto quit giving his best(actually his coach stopped it) while ortiz quit while ahead on points.....see the difference?.....

I ain't even mind him bowin outta the fight. It was his postfight interview that got me disappointed in him. He can bounce back and still potentially get a belt. But I dunno about him becomin the big star he was supposed to be. He's gonna have to win a tough fight to get cats to hop back on the bandwagon.
