Smith is also one of the few fighter's that Munguia, didn't have significant advantage's of, as is usually the case.
That being said Munguia, is a very competent strong fighter who doesn't need to be protected by anyone, for from anyone.
He may have had a loss or two if his promoter hadn't kept him fighting for the belt when he was the mandatory challenger.
But what great fight's we would've witnessed, and if he had beaten those fighter's, he would've been a well know fighter by now.

It's going to be a tough padding for Munguia's record this time around, because even though he should defeat Derevyanchenko, the Ukrainian always put's up a good fight. This fight was turned by his promoter years ago when it would've truly meant something, because at that time Derevyanchenko wasn't so shop worn.

That's a fact! Munguia should've fought about four of the very best fighter's by now but those fight's were turned down by his brain trust (promoter).
Those fighter's were if my memory serve's me correct Charlo, Andrade, Adames, and I believe that there was one more, but I just can't remember his name.

Are they trying to tell us Bek The Bully wouldn't take that fight? Berlanga wouldn't take that fight? Andrade wouldn't take that fight? Shiskin wouldn't take that fight? Of course they would! Oscar is just scared to put Munguia in with some real competition! Look at what he did to William Zepeda recently:

Munguia against Berlsnga would be a decent fight. Loser goes home!

If Oscar and Eddie could work together, it would be great for the fighters, and great for DAZN!

Why is Munguia being left behind? Not saying that he is elite quality, but he's hardly ever mentioned for realistic big fights. Mismanaged? Not actually that good?

I don't know if Andrade would? He's the king of canceled fights.

What they actually meant is the biggest calculated risk.

Berlanga was offered the fight against Mungia..

Berlanga said out of his own mouth NOOOOOO, he would like to face Mungia AFTER he faces Canelo LOLLLL
