I thought Haney-Lomachenko was pretty draw-ish. Could have gone either way.

It was actually a a much better fight than I expected. 116-112 wasn't within range but the fight had a lot of swing-y rounds.

Just my 2 cents. Not sure what all the fuss is about.

I rewatched it last night and after having it a draw watching it live I actually scored it 7-5 for Haney this time.
    1-Loma
    2-Haney
    3-Haney
    4-Haney
    5-Haney
    6-Haney
    7-Loma
    8-Loma
    9-Haney
    10-Loma
    11-Loma
    12-Haney

Rounds 1-9-12 you could say either guy won IMO but I just gave the rounds to the guy who landed the more impactful shots because the action was pretty even. Haney had great work to the body throughout the fight and really it was his only effective work all night minus a couple shots. Loma lead left landed at will and he put a few combos together and he had Haney reeling late in the fight which I think made people forget about the early rounds Haney squeezed out. It was a fight of momentum with swings going each way. If boxing was just scored as a whole and who maybe did the best work overall and hurt the other guy then Loma probably wins the fight but as we know it goes round by round.

I can see how people could give Loma 7 rounds or Haney 7 rounds and a draw is perfectly logical as well. I'm gonna watch it again and see if I see anything different again while I score it. It was a close fight either way.

Yup. Only rounds 10 and 11 were clear rounds with the rest very close. I had Haney winning most of the early rounds with Loma coming on strong later in the fight.

      I scored it a draw.

7-5 fights with numerous swing rounds are very drawish by nature — you have one of the fighters up by just one round. If there are several swing rounds, it stands to reason at least one of those rounds could’ve gone to the other guy. I think many people feel Lomachenko won because of their overall impression of the fight. But boxing matches are scored on a round-by-round basis, so it’s easy to be misled. I’m not saying who won — I haven’t even seen the fight yet — but it appears the overwhelming majority think Vasyl did enough.

This place goes crazy every time we get a big fight. I wasn't too into the stuff making fun of Loma crying or Bill Haney getting bottled. Kinda loser behavior.

Could have gone either way its just a total overreaction and typical sheep mentality.
All people have going on in their lives these days is pretending they're outraged by some ****.

''I am done with boxing, never buying a PPV again'', yeah good riddance.

Many people felt Lomachenko was past it. He performed far better than expected, so maybe that has a little to do with it.

Seems like people should have made this kind of a fuss for poor old man Barroso who really got shafted with that su****ious stoppage. Lomachenko is still in line for a few more decent paydays, that was Barroso’s last chance unless he is granted some justice.

7-5 either way or a draw is how I saw it as well.

Moretti or anyone giving Haney the 10th is either bias, corruption or just ******ity.

Giving Loma the 12th is almost as bad.

I agree with Mammoth, Shoulder Roll, Ganondorf, Dan Cov and JSmooth above.
