Oh yeah Devin, just like I would say to Jarrett Hurd and the Charlo boys....CUT YOUR FUQING HAIR!!!! Everytime you get hit with a punch it looks 1000x worse than it really is.Why do you think Loma and 3G have short haircuts? I remember watching 3G vs David Lemieux and everytime David swiped the hair that was hanging in front of his eye 3G timed him and hit him with right hands because David's arm was concentrated on swiping his hair. All boxers cut your hair dammit!

Super arrogant from commission to say moretti is one of best judges after the 10-10 in tank fight. That 10-10 had to be a mental lapse. Nobody in their right mind scores tank round 2 a draw
They didnt even explain that score. Just hope if they stay quiet people will stop talking about it and it will go awayNC Uppercut likes this.

They really should start having retired fighters as judges because they understand what's happening better than anyone.
Poor/corrupt judging goes beyond a W/L it's the repercussions for the actual fighter for the remainder of their career, including what big fights they might get, the money and what it does to their mind in future fights. Really unfair on the fighters.
Also why are so many comments mentioning race, race has nothing to do with it?NC Uppercut likes this.

Also, UFC does not try to include defense in their articulated scoring breakdown, boxing does. This is a problem because defense should be used to negate your opponent from scoring, but by including it in the criteria you are in essence counting it twice (once because it denies your opponent clean effective punches, twice because you utilized it). This creates an easy loophole of ambiguity for boxing judges to escape on.

Well, they should, for Moretti, but they won't do anything.
Did they do anything about referee Tony Weeks and the preposterous stoppage of Barroso, nope.
That Romero-Barrosa fight was more scandalous, even though that was not a big fight.

The problem runs much deeper than a single judge’s corruption and/or incompetence. Yeah, Moretti needs to be called on the carpet; but that fight would’ve resulted in a split decision win for Haney anyway. I don’t know if boxing will ever rid itself of this problem. Corruption is as old as the sport itself, and lawmakers don’t seem to give a damn. I’ve lost a great deal of interest in the sport — and at 57, I’m a lifelong fan. That says a lot.NC Uppercut likes this.
