So before the fight Shakur was like Haney smokes Loma and he is saying Loma beat Haney. Even Chameleons would be embarrassed

Haney was giving as good as he got and was winning the fight up until he got tired in the ninth round because he stopped throwing punches. Had Haney never punched himself out he would have won that damn fight by a landslide.
Cutting all that weight down to 135 has now finally taken its toll on his body. He must move up to 140 now. He has nothing left to prove at 135 anymore. He just defeated a P4P fighter, a legend and all-time great.letsgochump likes this.

Loma is more skilled but Haney is no slouch.
Haney is not puncher but his punches keep his opponents aware.Last edited by BillyBoxing; 05-21-2023, 10:17 AM.Slowhand likes this.

I’ve been told by the media that Loma is one of the most skilled fighters ever and maybe the best p4p fighter of his generation. I’ve yet to see itBoxviewer likes this.

The only reason I compare Loma with Floyd is because that’s the kind of hype he’s been getting undeservedly. I didn’t say that weight doesn’t matter. I asked why Loma couldn’t overcome the weight disadvantage with his skills advantage if he’s as good as the hype. It was a rhetorical question. The answer is he’s never been as good as the hype. It was a close fight but skill wise I wasn’t impressed by either guy.
But what did you mean then that ”nobody would’ve used weight as an excuse”? You agreed his fans would’ve.Cypocryphy likes this.
