Comments Thread For: Devin Haney: Lomachenko Was My Toughest Opponent By Far, He's Very Crafty

Devin Haney (30-0, 15 KOs) retained his undisputed lightweight crown with a razor-thin unanimous decision victory against Ukraine's three-division world champion Vasiliy Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Loma made him look ordinary, they won't want the rematch smoke, Loma did all the skill and eye catching work, a moral victory for him and the Ukraine.

Do you want to see or would you like to see a rematch ? I would but not in three years from now which is how these things get worked out. Give it till either Novermber or January and do a rematch. It will not happen but it would make it even more interesting then last nights fight which was a nice fight to watch. I gave to Lomo by two points but anything besides a draw did not set right with me. Not a robbery but not a fair shake either.

I'd pay to see a rematch, quality fight, good for boxing, although I felt Loma won it, it was a close fight. I'm also slightly biased.

Loma is a great fighter but Haney fought with the wrong strategy. He isn't a straight right puncher and that's what you need against a southpaw. I had the fight very close with the champion having the edge. I do believe a rematch is warranted as long as Haney get the bg. He loses to Stevenson and is put to sleep by Tank

Tank will be licking his chops at the prospect of sending haney to splattsville.

Loma looked ordinary himself. Why couldn’t he outclass a less skilled non power punching Haney?
