Ofc it was lucky. He didn’t land anything significant or even a lot of less significant punches. Wallin did OK in that fight but apart from that he hasn’t ever looked actually good or dominant against anyone. Who has he ever even hurt properly let alone stopped? He has literally no power. Even less than Hughie Fury. His entire reputation is that one cut against Tyson Fury, the rest of his so called career has been in the shadows.

He’s a bit too nice and polite. Punching power and heart are among the things that are hard to train. He doesn’t have the heart or the mustard needed at the top and likely never will.

On top his style is quite boring. He nullifies his opponents by boxing safe without committing too much. That makes him high risk low reward and also not very marketable to audiences.

He should try to get with a promoter who can get him more meaningful ful fights. Salita has failed in that.

I think Otto will still struggle to get good fights. He's from a country without much of a boxing fan base, not going to spark guys out, and is a tough, tricky southpaw.

I'm not sure major promoters will see much financial upside from him to pay to get big fights and they will be hesitant to put him against other (more potentially lucrative) fighters in their stable that he may beat.

I'm a fan and wish him luck.

Also, Franklin got the Whyte fight because he looked pretty subpar his entire career. His previous promotion dropped him for a reason and Whyte needed a win against someone with a gaudy record that wasn't a threat. Franklin exceeded expectations but still showed he wouldn't be a threat to AJ, which is why he got that fight.

This guy won 3 rounds against Fury which made him believe he was a superstar. Than he beat Kauffman and Breazeale , which was ok, but he has done nothing since than.

He kept on calling out top guys which have no reason to fight him. When he didn`t get the fights he wanted he fought trial horses. He should have called out some top 15 - 25 guys and beat them.

He is not very bright and he can`t blame anybody but himself.

              Wallin vs. Sanchez!

Sanchez is seen as one of the most skilled contenders... we haven't seen him tested against a good southpaw yet... Otto Wallin is the perfect test.
