It was a clsoe fight and rounds hard to score. could have been a draw. Haney landed a lot of body shots. Loma landed some but also missed a lot of combos. Was the more active with lower connect rate. Had Haney stunned in the 11th then let Haney take over the 12th.

Only suspect card was the 116-112 card.

Loma and his fans can never accept defeat. Hell it’s not like it was his first loss and sure as hell won’t be his last. Go have a good cry with your hero and move on, that dudes career is washed up!

Scoring pro boxing isn't just about who landed more punches. That is Olympic scoring. Pro boxing is about who had better ring generealship, who landed the more crisp, harder and more accurate punches, who was the aggressor, combined with punch stats, and also knockdowns and if a fighter is visibly hurt as in reeling, out on his feet, etc.

Loma by those standards won at least 8 rounds and a case could be made for 9. I keep hearing "Haney landed body shots, Loma fans don't get it". Loma showed no signs of being bothered by the body shots, was never hurt, and many of the shots were visibly low and not legal punches. Even if all the body shots are counted, Loma landed the more accurate shots, he confused Haney all night ans he visibly hurt Haney.

This is why all the fighters are saying Loma won. By pro boxing judging standards, he obviously won. And it wasn't a draw, not at all. It wasn't "what a person likes". Loma won the fight, if we are going by actual pro boxing scoring. Olympic scoring is not pro boxing scoring.
Accept defeat and move on. It’s pathetic watching grown men cry.

Except Loma won. And everyone knows it. No crying. Accept the fact that this bull**** is destroying boxing.

I mean it is already a niche sport anyway. At this point there is no real reason in even watching it, as it is all about politics and corruption. I guess eventually when the money is basically nil for these fighters, and the only fans left don't care about the right outcome, but only that the guy they like won, and they can feel secure in their biases....it will be dead. Probably for the best.

Yes 100%. Everyone said to shut up and move on when Fury beat Wilder. So you Loma fans shut up and move on. When Teo lost the titles to Kambo he didn't say he was going to protest. Qhen Kambo lost two good fights to Devin he clapped his hands and gave Devin his props. So now Loma needs to hold his head high and come back. Next up: Loma v Shakur!!

I know Arum acted like he was mad Loma lost but upon further review......! When Devin said during the press conference last week that "ESPN felt like home" and he was gonna stay. Arum probably thought that he was going to be in control of all the lightweight belts and Devin v Shakur and more importantly Devin v Tank on ESPN PPV. Loma better look for snakes in his camp!

Gosh. You're a bit touchy aincha?

Correct you about Compubox? It's just two people pressing buttons when they see a punch scored. Sure they then digitise their inputs but that doesn't make it a computerised system at it's core. The results would be the same if they just jotted em on a piece of paper. It's as utterly fallible and prone to error as any other system based on human perception.

The way it works is pretty simple. CompuBox sends two operators to sit ringside during a fight, with each person responsible for tracking one of the boxers, inputting all the punches on their laptops using the company's software.

"The program hasn't really changed all these years," CompuBox president Bob Canobbio told Tech Times. "It's pretty basic with boxing — it's jab and power punch."
CompuBox has been tracking and providing punching stats in boxing for over 30 years now. Here's the history behind the Long Island, New York-based company and how it got to be the official numbers for the sweet science.

Oh snap. Looks like I just corrected you again. You gonna call me some more mean names?
