Loma hurt Haney at least twice. Haney's pillow punches had no effect on Loma. Judging the outcome of a fight on the fighter's faces means nothing because different skin reacts differently to punches, some skin bruises easier and dark skin doesn't show bruising as much. Haney also landed many low blows. Those are not scoring shots, and he should've had a point deducted. Loma won 8 - 4. A very clear win for Loma.

No it is not. I said this sums it up. Meaning it's a good summary. I agree compubox doesn't tell the whole story nor it is even accurate. I have tested and they don't actually score punches right.

I judged the fight based on how professional fights are judged.

      Effective aggression - Loma
      Ring Generalship - Loma
      Defense - Loma
Hard and clean punches - Loma

Loma controlled the pace and whether he went forward or backwards. He was never hurt but he hurt Haney multiple times. He scored the better shots even when Hankey landed more of his weak arm punches. Loma avoided all of Haney's hardest shots and kept coming through the best ones Haney landed. Haney was reactive, visibly uncomfortable and hurt. He was crying in his corner to his dad and his punches had no effect on Loma.

It's not bias when one fighter does everything better than the opponent. Let me guess, you're unbiased bcs you just take scorecards as gospel?

You can land more punches and win your rounds more convincingly and still get a deserved L if the other fighter simply won more rounds.

Maybe if you actually got someone to teach you how fights are scored in a way that you can understand, you wouldn’t be so frustrated.

Sure, tell me how are fights scored and how using those factors you can make this a win for Haney, let's hear it bcs I can already tell it will be hilarious. It always is when someone is trying to convince themselves of their own delusion to others. Let's go.

I actually watch the fights and score them myself. You're acting like Haney didn't land hard shots or give Lomachenko any trouble and that's just ridiculous.

This was a close, competitive bout and I don't take anyone seriously that didn't see it that way.

I pay no attention to compubox stats. Literally useless except to give you an “approximation” of punches thrown, which can be useful in predicting fights. Other than that. Completely useless.

I’ve seen countless times these stats being pumped by punches that missed by miles/clearly, one after the other, recorded as landed. It’s bad.

Fights are judged round by round. If you judge the fight round by round then I could see the fight going either way as it was that close. There many swing rounds that could’ve went for 1 guy or the other depending on who’s judging.

I haven’t even said Haney won. I’m only saying that it wasn’t a robbery. Loma didn’t clearly win the fight no more than Haney did. You simply can’t acknowledge your bias.

Right on. A massive Loma hater saying it could ”have gone either way” means it’s a clear win for Loma. Thanks for the confirmation.

You probably thought Canelo-Bivol could have gone either way too.

NEITHER fighter won 7 rounds clean. The fight was a legit draw. Other than that, you saw what you wanted to see.

You are half a year late to this thread my guy! Did you just wake up from a coma?

Here is a more accurate tally of punches.
