    I don’t think a rematch should happen.

This was Lomachenko giving his last, full measure of athleticism and skill.

His weeping in the backstage area demonstrates how he has nothing left in the tank, emotionally or physically.

I like him, but he needs to retire.

If he continues to fight, most likely someone is going to knock him out badly, or he will decline sharply and incur a lot of damage like Roy Jones, Jr. did.

It’s time for other fights now. Haney showed he could fight and narrowly beat a more athletic fighter like Lomachenko, and now he must show us he can defeat an elite power-hitter like Tank.

Close fight with many hard to score rounds. I didn't score it, just watched it.

I don't like to hear much from Shakur. But he is right.

I don't know how Haney won that. He didn't win that.

Haney is already angling out of the division. So we likely won't see Shakur vs Haney. But seeing how the money is peaked with Gervonta. We mich get Gervonta and Haney next and Haney is getting knocked out in that one. He couldn't stop, predict, or time Lomachenko's left straight. Gervonta's comes with Semtex attached. He has to duck Gervonta, he's not winning that at 135.

Bad stamina by both fighters. Bad accuracy. Both looked like they fought scared ****less. It was also another one of those suspect fights where the guy with the better gas tank who is normally better late in fights for some reason threw no body shots, even though he has great body shots, so that the "script" has an excuse why he also fades late the same as the other guy does, and so the script has an excuse why it's close and controversial at the end.

Reminded me of GGG vs Canelo. It's like one guy has a script not to throw any body shots, and the other guy has a script to throw constant body shots, even way below the waist, but the first guy has a script to never complain about it to the ref.

I am not dogging Haney, he made Loma look like a fraud, Im just saying it's a fact maybe 40% of his clean body shots were clearly low, but Loma, just like Kovalev vs Ward, and just like GGG vs Canelo, did not throw low shots back, or do anything to stop it. That's clear scripting if you know the game. So both guys got a big payday and walked away with no damage, just a few scratches from the gloves, and they can both go to dinner and toast the fans ******ity. "We got them again! Hahaha!"

Me personally, I at least wish they would put on a better show. So few clean punches landed. So few extended exchanges. Just a few bip bop jabs or body shots, or a weak Loma flurry where he misses more than he connects, and then back to pawing or holding and running out the time that they have to write and practice the script for. They are shortchanging their customers really badly.

Solid post. I do think Loma should get a rematch. There is no way in hell Haney gives him one at 135. Loma not going to 140 for it.

Haney post fight sounded like he was going to 140 unless he gets a massive payday to stay at 135.

I think Loma continues boxing. Likely wins a belt or 2 when Haney drops them. Then has one last mega fight with Shakur.

Haney would have probably gotten the praise and respect he wanted if he wasn't a piece of trash before the fight.
