Announcer said what I was thinking... They gotta stop choosing tough hard hitting Mexicans for their gimme fights, because the Euro guys keep getting knocked out. At least pick a guy without a high stoppage percentage...

I know we give a lot of stick for refs jumping into early but that was seriously too late

I liked the ref. He did give the home guy too much of an opportunity, but he didn’t give him extra time after the KD, broke up the holding, didn’t come up with some bs excuse or warning to buy time… in short didn’t take the opportunity away from the away fighter.

We complain about UK refs a lot and often rightfully so. Give some respect when they do it the right way too.

I pictured a bearded paler Fondura when he was crashing to the canvas. Totally flawed style for his skinny angular frame.

In all fairness, Felix has been beaten by the likes of Tyrone McKenna (although he did drop him)

Cully is meant to be a better fighter than McKenna with a higher ceiling, so its not like they hadn't had a good look at Felix

fighting guys that can **** isn't the problem. Fighting them with your hands low and your chin high is.

For sure Felix Jr had a 77% KO rate going into this fight
