Paulie Malignaggi, has his opinion and to be honest no one has to agree with it and I'm one of those and yes Lomachenko has faced better opponents than say Haney however none of those fighters has what Haney has, in speed nor talent plus lets keep in mind you only as good as your last fight; well Lomachenko looked bad whereas Haney coming off two good wins; back to back against a guy who beat Teofimo Lopez. Size and age also favor Haney not to mention an undefeated record which speaks volumes so Paulie can go figure out why he keeps getting fired and sit his asS down somewhere.

My heart says Loma, but my head and my money say Haney. I like to usually root for the underdog and the "older" fighter, and I'd be rooting for Haney if the roles were reversed. Kind of Loma's last shot, whereas Haney has his whole career in front of him. Besides his obvious skill level, Haney is young and fresh. He's also going to be huge compared to Loma on fight night. Loma may have also lost just a tiny bit and that can make all the difference, especially against someone like Haney.

That's what some people have been saying. Commey, Nakatani, Pedraza, these were all accessible fighters available for Haney with zero promotional issues. But he picked retired and low level opponents, instead.
