so when a fighter fails to make weight is the screen up shorts off thing all fake too lolComment

It affects recovery, which I’ve said in the past. Another reason I wanted to see the shape Haney was in from the cut. See if it’s worth the odds on a stoppage.Comment

Teo/George
Haney/JoJo
Tank/Ryan
hoping it’s not newComment

Thank you. I don't know, just seems like they may need to start reeling this stuff in a bit. Zurdo made 175 and he came into the ring at 204 against Boesel. If I remember correctly Danny Jacobs made 160, blew off one of the belts and supposedly came into the ring at like 185-190 against GGG. And I'm not picking on these guys I'm sure there's a list of others. I don't know what's worse-coming into the ring much bigger than your opponent or possibly getting yourself sick or killed trying to make weight. I guess that's why I get paid by the hour and these guys are on ESPN...Comment

I wouldn't point hte finger at Devin in particular unless it was his team that stipulated doing the weigh in this early but as a general principle I want to see fights decided on the basis of who is the better boxer and fighter rather than who can gain the greatest size advantage by rehydrating more. It's the rules of the sport that IMO need overhauling - and I've said this over and over - not the fault of the individual fighters who take advantage of the rules as they stand.Comment

fraudulence in every corner of society going on right now.
,people like the haneys know what they did and that nobody did anything about it.,in fact it was encouraged
anything to get them over the finish line, whatever it takesLast edited by YOU WILL LOSE; 05-19-2023, 05:02 PM.Comment

I'll just say I don't like it. Whatever the established rules are, everyone should be following them to the letter. NO special accommodations for anyone, particularly in title fights.Comment
