Probably Canelo is still “the face of boxing” imo. Probably the most recognizable at least from my experience in the US.

Muhammad Ali wasn't a true champion in your eyes?

His brashness can be viewed against him, I concur. However, he almost always backed up what he said.

He also did so much in the ring and outside of it that it made him larger than life.

Claressa did much less than him and tries to copy his MO. That's not the way to go.

Ali is a bad example since he was so much outside the norm.
