Comments Thread For: Haney: Loma Won't Get Away With What He Got Away With Against Other Fighters

The undefeated, fully unified lightweight champion isn't certain, though, that the Ukrainian southpaw will emerge as the boxer who gave Haney his most difficult fight. Haney believes he will present problems for Lomachenko that no other

I like Haney but I really hope Loma can pull off a masterful fight and shake up the 135 division.

Haney is coming up with all sort of ****** stuff to say about Loma. He is really bad at promoting the fight as both a person and a boxer.

Haney is scared to death. He is nervous as hell that Loma will beat him and he is trying to talk himself into believing his own BS. Loma meanwhile is composed and cracking jokes. Loma had ring rust and fought a guy in his last fight who had sparred with him many times, and who is a damn good fighter.

Haney wins this fight one way. He stinks it up. And if he does that, Loma will likely figure out a way to nullify it. Haney is likely to get hurt and stopped.

What is Haney talking about? This coming from the best example of the punch and grab style of boxing. I do give credit to Haney for even scheduling a fight with Lomachenko, but I am surprised and disappointed that he is already setting up excuses for and anticipated loss.
