    Question about Loma Vs Haney

We are blessed to see this fight this weekend! May the best man win!
Now, hypothetically speaking, if Loma wins the Undisputed Championship, do you think he will retire as he has attained his final goal?
    Opinions and comments appreciated!

I think Top Rank would try to make him an offer to fight Shakur Stevenson, to raise his profile.

if he actually moved down to 130 like he has stated, he could do what he wanted against Teo which is unifying all the world titles in his division.

I think they’ll want Loma/Shakur but it’ll ultimately be up to Loma, I’d assume. What else would he have to prove/accomplish?

I think it's definitely possible. The way he's talking about his country and wanting to be home with his family, that this was his ultimate goal, I wouldn't be shocked if he retires should he win. People have been asking him about what's next if he wins, and he just mentions his family and the war back home.

Personally, I want to see him fight Tank after this. I don't want to see Loma and Shakur next, if he wins. I want to see him fight Tank because I've wanted to see that fight for almost seven years now, and Tank's team sound as if they are finally keen on making that fight a reality.

Nah he’ll fight Shakur. I think he’ll possibly fight him for a vacant belt if he loses too. Loma is genuinely the type of fighter who’ll fight anyone I reckon.

I favour Haney by decision but a Loma would be better for the division because there’s no way Haney is staying at 135 to fight Shakur IMO.

I think TR would try to make fight with Shakur to "pass the torch"... If I were Loma, I would go after a Tank fight because that's where the $$ would be and win or lose he retires after that a richer man

A little perspective on Loma's career. A lot of posters have been talking about how he's not that great because he's only fought 19 times. But almost half those fights have been against world champions, only 4 haven't been title fights.

His opponents have a combined record of 486-43-14, averaging 27-2-1 rounding to the nearest whole number. To put that in perspective, Devin Haney's opposition is 417-165-21, for an average record of 14-6-1, and Tank Davis is at 492-125-15, averaging 17-4-1.

Loma has fought top competition for almost the entirety of his professional career, with only a few fighters that weren't ranked at the time he fought them. Yes, he was fast tracked because he was perhaps the most successful amateur boxer of all time. But he's accomplished a lot, such as tying for fastest to world champion, and being the fastest three division world champion in history. That's why focusing on certain numbers really doesn't tell the whole picture. Like, people make a huge deal of Mayweather putting together a 50-0 record, which is a great achievement, but combat sports enthusiasts know there's a fighter who achieved a run of 100 consecutive wins with no losses.

Whoever wins this will really have a solid win for their resume. I'm personally really looking forward to this one.
