Tanks win wasnt minimized, he got all the clout and some. Ryan couldve been 50lbs heavier and his technical mistakes wouldve cost him regardless. But truth be told, Ryan isnt and wasnt that good. Anyone that pays attention to boxing knows a Southpaw against an Orthodox fighter is a back and forth battle of the lead foot. Against Campbell and Fortuna it was obvious that Garcia is front foot heavy. Tanks team knew this going in which is why they insisted Ryans a dumb fighter. He was able to beat Campbell and Fortuna based on being the fresher fighter, nothing more.

What won that fight for Tank was skills not weight. But the naysayers will hold on to the catchweight.

Tank would’ve stopped him regardless of what he weighed. He had him mentally beat the first time he cracked him. You either got the dawg in you or you don’t and Garcia clearly doesn’t. Guys who weight drain and don’t rehydrate right get KOed because their brains aren’t rehydrated and cushioned w water properly. He took an invisible body shot and called it a night because he knew he didn’t have the answers.

Ryan himself said that he doesn't like to blow up before the fight and he doesn't even weight 150 on fight night. Ryan lost because he's not better than Tank point blank.
