cotto could win easy by doing this.....if he can outbox mosley, i have no doubt in my mind that he could do it to pac....he should just jab pac to death and win on points.

If Pac gets caught with with Cotto's hooks the body, he will win.

No point to that. he's outgunned in speed. Cats keep sayin he'll time Pac all nite, and that can neutralize a speed differential. But you gotta have some speed of your own to do that ****. Cotto ain't slow by no means, but this timing **** is laughable. He's a WW and Pac ain't. Fight like the bigger man and make it count. No way he has the stamina to box Pac to a decision. He can't afford to do that or to be satisfied wit that.

Sig it up... If JT gets past AA, he wins the tournament.

i think it would be a great idea for Miguel to stay on the outside and just match handspeed against PAC...hey, he did it against Shane...whatever worked against shane will definitely work against PAC

No I actually agree with you to a degree OP. I think Cotto is more technically sound than Pacquiao and he could follow Morales/Marquez's blueprint and give Pacquiao all kinds of trouble instead of just going in there with his mind on being fookan massive and blowing little Pac out the water.

If he spent 2 minutes of every round boxing Pac and 1 minute working the fuck out of his body he improves his chances of winning tenfold IMO.

both pac and shane are fast, aggressive sluggers who have massive problems when facing a boxers. cotto is more of a boxer-puncher who has nullify speed with his ability.

erik morales was more of a slugger than a scientific boxer and was able to outbox manny pac. cotto is very capable of doing this...my only concern is his stamina.

Miguel would be best served to stick with what got him there; body shots and a workmanlike effort in breaking down his opponent...

Wrong... He needs to impose his size and power on Pacquiao; not sit there and try to jab him to death all-night. Pacquiao for one is to fast and has good head and body movement to make him an elusive target for Cotto to hit. Would not be a wise idea for Cotto to fight this type of fight (IMO).
