Look guys, If you have been following these fighters for as long as I have (2000) you would know that Miguel has to establish his jab as dominant weapon and vice versa, Manny must prepare to negate Miguel's jab. If Miguel tries to bum rush Manny and impose his naturally superior size (Miguel has always been 150lbs even as a kid) he will get countered all night until he is stopped by a series of right hooks - see Ricky Hatton. Manny is simply too evolved as a fighter for Miguel to steamroll at this stage of his career; he does not stand still and constantly creates opportunities to counter pressure fighters by bobbing and weaving. Miguel would stand a greater chance for victory if he were to box tall on his toes, move his head, jab, jab,jab, trap Manny into following him around the ring and throw sharp right hand leads followed by snapping left hooks every now and then to keep Manny guessing even switch to Southpaw for a quick combo -right uppercut, left uppercut, right hook (See 2000 Sydney Olympics as this combo is second nature to Miguel and has been for years).
The winner of this fight won't be the faster fighter (Manny) or the stronger fighter (Miguel) it will be the fighter who executes the best strategy because when you really look at the tale to the tape they have the same reach and Manny is only half an inch shorter (5'6.5 vs, 5'7) as evidenced during their face-to-face staredown at Yankees Stadium on 9/10/09.

cotto could win easy by doing this.....if he can outbox mosley, i have no doubt in my mind that he could do it to pac....he should just jab pac to death and win on points.
