This nonsense of expecting mandatories to fight one another for a shot at the belts is garbage. The champ should take on all comers, and if he can't handle that he should vacate, and duck outright jnstead of holding belts hostage.
Totally wrong. Honestly things would be way better if there weren't so many sanctioning organizations, only one belt, and the top guys fought each other for the right to challenge the champ. Not sure why you've drunk the four belt Kool aid, but it's in no way better for boxing to have multiple champions, and organizations that remove the top guys from their rankings if they fight for another sanctioning organization, instead of ranking the other champions.

The current system is in no way sensible. I think you might be the first one I've seen who actually supports it. Canelo wasn't even the first to do this sort of thing. Mayweather would be a better target for that, and both of them were fighting other champions anyways. Putting value on mandatories over unification is downright ******. Boxing is better when the best fight the best.

Since you brought up Canelo, you'd rather have seen more BS fights like Yildirim, rather than Saunders and Plant? Instead of unification, and getting the first undisputed, we could have had Canelo fighting Fedor Chuvinov or Lennox Allen. How is that in any way better? Canelo is one of the few in the modern era whose current resume involves way more champions than random dudes who bought their way into a mandatory slot. You think that Rolly deserved that title shot, let alone the corrupt gift of the belt from Tony Weeks? The boxing organizations ranking systems are frequently nonsense.

Do you have a reading or comprehension problem? Charlo and canelo are undisputed, wtf can they unify with? You get on here and give some long-winded answer that doesn't even address anything you've quoted. I'm not going to respond to all that garbage. What I'm saying is when you have all the belts you need to fight all the top contenders, preferably in the order they got to the interim and number 1 contender slots. If the fights don't intrigue you - move up or vacate. Yildrim wasn't a real mandatory, they cooked that fight to give clenelo an easy fight against his sparring partner.

Still have no idea what part of what I said implied anything of being pro sanctioning organizations. All I'm saying is when you're undisputed your job is to fight the number 1 contenders, not expect them to knock each other off to make your job easier.
