His immediate fight afterwards should be Andrade or Adames depending on which is the most lucrative, but if he's ordered then he must fight his mandatory first.
Reality is these boxers' choice of fights has nothing to do with fans. Blaming fans mean nothing.
Fights happen not because fans want it. Otherwise, this fight would have happened years ago. Agree?
Charlo decides what to accept and what not to accept. He's taking this fight because it makes sense for his situation.

Name a fighter that is fit for a tuneup for Charlo's next fight. As others said, even tuneups can go horribly wrong.
Losing to a tuneup, or merely struggling, is far more devastating than losing to Andrade.

I made a thread about this Charlo fella years ago and that thread is still relevant even to this day. I know what he's made of.

Jermall Charlo Willing To Bypass Tune ups, March Straight Into Demetrius Andrade Showdown:

Win, lose or draw, after all these years that Andrade chased him, and he chased Canelo, who cares.

Charlo is looking for cash out fights.

He and his "twin brother" should fight their way out the door, don't pass go, don't collect $200, and just go directly to jail.

Who are the possible candidates for a tuneup fight for Charlo? Give me names.

Will he take Resendiz for a tuneup fight? He can always reschedule the Sulecki fight. Who else?

How about Jarret Hurd, who lost to Resendiz? That's a 89% winnable fight for him.

How about rematching Montiel? Any Karen out there?

Perfectly legit to take on a guy who lost his last fight for a tuneup. I have no objection to it.
Joshua did the same with Franklin at the top of my head. There were others I'm trying to remember.

Andrade was a winnable fight for him years ago. I don't know if I still feel the same now. But it seems clear Charlo has been considering taking this fight as he's no longer talking smack at Andrade. He has softened up. He seems glad Andrade is still around for him. But it won't be long they'll be back in their elements, talk trash, resurrect grievances, play blame games in the press cons... Can't wait.

This coward will never fight Andrade. Ever. And at this point, no one really cares. It doesn't take two years to resolve "personal issues". The fact the WBC hasn't stripped this clown tells me how deep they are in Al's pocket.

Andrade or adames, make your pick Charlo! , boo boo might be bit more of a winnable fight considering both coming from inactivity I believe thats why Mall wants to fight him instead and not the dominican whos on good momentum and more dangerous fight for him. Charlo playing slick lol.

Adames is who Jermall should be facing first, and the winner could then face Andrade. But we live in unscrupulous times, so you never know what's going to happen next.
