Anyone Know Who The Referee Is For Lomachenko vs Haney And When The Weigh-In Will Be?

I've been looking everywhere for some information on this, and I can't find a word on the matter. Tonight, I heard a rumor that Kenny Bayless is going to be the referee. Please tell me it isn't so!

I think we can safely say that Tony Weeks won't be involved. Jack Reiss just refereed the main event for Top Rank, so maybe that's a good sign if he's available. But of all the referees there are, I'm going to scream if it's Kenny Bayless.

And what's going on with the weigh-in? I'm worried that it might be one of those special weigh-ins like Lopez had when he fought Kambosos. You know, where you weigh-in the night or early in the morning before the actual weigh-in, and then it's just perfunctory getting on the scales at the broadcast weigh-in. I suppose we'll know if Haney comes in this time and doesn't look like a corpse. If he looks weigh better than he did for Kambosos, then I'm probably not going to watch the fight.

If anyone has any info on this, please share.

If the ref lets Haney lay all over Lomachenko and that causes Haney to win, then it's not an excuse, it's another corrupt referee.

You’re not going to watch the fight if Haney doesn’t look dead on the scales…?

Dude please don’t contribute to this ******ity.

Loma may lose. If he does, that is ok.

It is disgraceful that some of his fans decide before the fight happens that foul play is the reason he loses.

I think we can all agree that the ref is gonna be an important variable of this particular match-up. Loma HAS to close the distance and work on the inside. If the ref allows excessive clinching, doesn't encourage the boxers to fight out of clinches, and prohibits any dirty boxing........Loma doesn't stand a chance.

I don’t have an issue with you making this point.

My issue is with the Loma diehards, like the TS, that are posting BS to justify the excuses they will make after the fight should he lose.

Not only Haney could do something *dirty*. Besides, that happens in pro fights.

Haney’s length, speed, skill and athleticism are going to factor more on who wins than anything else.

i think haney is going to want to win this fight clean as a whistle showing his skills and dominating like he says, i dont think he wants any type of dogfight going on, this is his chance to make a statement v a very good named fighter
