        It might do the same...

but in the same token, Top Rank aren't going to need to jump through hoola hoops to sell this fight. The buzz has already sparked interest among Boxing fans and casual fans as far back as when the fight was 1st announced.

People on here just assume casual Boxing fans don't know Miguel Cotto or Manny Pacquiao.

I called the MGM Grand this morning actually and tried to get a few more tickets, I already bought 2 @ $500 each and was able to pick up 2 more for $350 each from a friend, but they have nothing under $1,000 and mostly single seats.

I'm going to be selling 2 tickets come closer to fight time, so if anyone wants to go shoot me a PM.

Pac got a lot of airplay after crushing hatton. I think this fight will do a million or so.

I think it'll do around a Million on PPV.

But like Rav says, Top Rank isn't going to need to go through a whole hoopla to sell the fight, the names on the headliner speak for themselves.

I hope it does 10Million PPV buys!

All jokes aside, the more it does the better for the sport cause the sport will get richer and afford to make better fights more consistently.

If the sport is poor then you get poor fights.

I don't think it will surpass what Floyd - Marquez did honestly.

Floyd-Marquez not doing so well at the gate, but smashing on the PPV's tells me that its a fight that many people wanted to watch just to see what happens. Not so much a battle, that would go down as something legendary.

Pacquiao-Cotto seems more like a classic fight that you'd want to go to, or at least be in Vegas for, to feel the electricity in the air, and at least to say you were there. Which, also explains why the tickets were selling so fast.

If I had to guess, I'd say around 7-800K buys.
