It wasn’t the best stoppage but I’ve seen worse. I’ve always held Calzaghe in high regard, but his stoppage of Peter Manfredo was probably the worst I’ve ever seen in recent years. Ultimately Rolly was going to win the fight either on points or lead stoppage in the championship rounds.

To be sure he was going to win on the cards if there were cards but if the next time he got knocked down he didn't beat the count, that would have been a problem.

Quick stop, no problem.

If anything, it should've been Rolly who was stopped

Rolly was getting tagged up in the last exchange and landed nothing. He was also down on the cards lol.

Ref got scared that Rolly was gonna get put to bed in that exchange, so he quickly jumped in save him.

I didnt watch the fight but from this clip it looked like Ismael was hurt, there was scratchiness in his legs and he was getting caught with hard shots, maybe a little early stoppage but looked to me Rolly was going to get him.
