I'm looking forward to this fight. I think it will go the distance with Abraham getting the decision. Everybody think Abraham is this devastating puncher, but he's only KOd ham and eggers. Taylor just has to box like he did in the fight against Froch, and not fade down the stretch and he will at least give a good account of himself even if he loses.

man i both love and hate this fight. im a fan of both guys so i dont want eighter one o lose, i wish they didnt have to fight eachother until after the third stage. i hope jermain takes the whole tournament, it would be awesome if he came back after his losses and did that, boxing history for real. and hes just a nice guy u want to succeed. jermain at his best beats froch, and even old jermain beats dirrell and kessler, ward will be a tough one but abraham is the hardest, if he can get past him hes half there.

Instead of just running 6 miles a day, where his focus was on pacing himself and simply finishing the run in under an hour, by mixing in sprints between doing laps on the track he should help get his body accustomed to having to work harder when necessary, instead of just coasting at a dangerously slow pace.

It's also good that he came into camp at close to his fighting weight, so that he could concentrate solely on boxing strategy and conditioning instead of spending half his time and energy shedding the lbs.
I'll never for the life of my understand why just about every fighter does the same 5-6 mile job. Tradition, I guess. Not to say it's not effective - it is - but I just feel it should be part of conditioning training instead of the conditioning. It's a pure aerobic activity and boxing consists of aerobic and anaerobic activity. 50-100m intervals will target the anaerobic system and 200-800m intervals target both which simulates what takes place in a fight.

Anyway, I am glad he's doing this type of work and I hope it pays off.

The position Jermain is in now kinda in a way reminds me of Evander before the Tyson fight (except Evander was more accomplished), highly regarded champ who rose quickly to become undisputed champ, coming off some bad losses, underdog against a dangerous puncher, everyone thinking he's gonna get killed

Whether Jermain can pull off the upset is a tough question. If he has improved his stamina and his chin is still reasonably good, then yes he can win, but theres always gonna be the prospect of a late stoppage looming. Interesting fight.

looks like you have a bit more than me, but i'll take that bet.

                AA knocks Taylor out.

this is AA fight to show the world just who he is. he was planning on moving into the supers for some time, but he was waiting on Pavlik and Sterm. Against Kessler, he will have a battle. Ward and Dirrell have the speed but AA's power and chin can overcome. Taylor and Froch are his two easiest fights IMO. Taylor is great when he gets going, but Abraham is going to be tough for Taylor.
