I have heard the same arguments against Bivol before Canelo fight. That his competition was not elite and that he looked bad in his last 2 fights.

Benavidez beat Plant clearly, him going distance with Plant doesn`t mean he can`t beat Canelo.

People keep forgetting Bivol is natural 75 pounder who beat up former lhw champs in his div prior to canelos its not even comparable to benavidez , andrade or charlo , like I said canelo real threat is at 175, cinnabon beats all opp at 68 imo. Canelo had good and fast upper body movement that helped his defence earlier in his career despite being flat-footed, and now even that seems gone. He is on his way out for sure, and he hasn't even reached his mid 30s. This is not an elite fighter like floyd was. Floyd was still sharp when he was 38.

I think benny will eventually move up once he fights canelo, Interested to see how he does against LHW killers like Bivol or Arthur, matches their physique not so sure same boxing skill wise. Especially compared to Bivols.
