Easily? Vitali was just as tired as Lewis when the fight was stopped and was holding Lewis at every opportunity to stop himself getting dropped.

Lennox Lewis is in my opinion one of the 5 best heavyweights ever. So i have to go with him.

this thread fails at life. as already stated, old lewis beat prime vitali, and wlad is not on prime vitali's level.

As much as I like the Klitschkos, Lewis was undisputed champion. I like Lewis too, he's just awesome.

                    Who has Vitali beaten then?

sam peter and arreolla - two fat bums that couldnt box for ****
juan carlos gomez - old and a former cruiserweight
                    herbie hide - glass jawed
                    danny williams

                    compare to Lewis

PRIME Vitali Klitschko(Lewis was past prime yet he still beat him)
Mike Tyson(shot but still better than the likes of arreolla and peter)
Evander Holyfield(slightly past prime but stil a very good opponent)
                    David Tua
Ray Mercer(it was a close fight but he wasn't robbed, just because a fight was close doesnt mean it was a robbery)
Michael Grant - who else was he supposed to fight byrd, ruiz? if he fought those two people would be saying he ducked Grant.
Golota - he got blasted by Lewis thats a fact, enough with the excuses

Lennox Lewis resume tops V.K's resume by FAR and you know it, its ridicilous to say otherwise. expeccially due to the fact that an OLD, PAST PRIME Lewis made Vitalis face look like he had been in a war and those where by legal punches not some made-up bull**** headbutts like you klitschko nuthuggers claim.

and btw i won't continue this arguement with you much more, you are to biased and hateful against lewis to have a decent normal argument with. Vitali is greater than Lewis and has a better resume? lmfao, take a look at the poll and see whos right.
Lewis mightve fought more named fighters because he was fortunate to live in a golden era of boxing. He also did not become champion until Tyson, Holyfield, Moore, Foreman, and Bowe were all out of his way.
Vitali started professional boxing at 25, has the Guinness world record of most knockouts in a row, and has the highest knockout percentage in heavyweight history. What historical mark did Lewis leave in the heavyweight division?
Lewis at 37 wouldnt hold a candle to Vitali at 38. The way you talk it would seem like Lewis was an old bum who destroyed Vitali. Last I recall, Vitali was beating that ass up and down the ring. And the only reason he lost was because Lewis was lucky enough to graze Vitali's eyelid in the 3rd round. A graze which would blind Vitali for the rest of the fight. The rest of the fight which Vitali was still dominating, and that is with one eye mind you. If Lewis is as great and good as you say he was he would not back out of a rematch that he promised Vitali in the ring. Nor would he get his own doctor to inspect Vitali's eye, nor would he wait until Vitali fought Kirk Johnson. No the man was retired by Vitali in what was the luckiest win of his career.
Therefore if you want to be real and talk facts, here are the facts. Lewis won his fight with Vitali in the same condition Chris Byrd won the fight against Vitali, and that is by getting lucky after getting his ass beat lol. Here is another fact Vitali retired Lewis hehe.

                      A grazed eye?

Vitali got the **** beaten out of him. Vitali won 3 rds clearly Lewis won 2 and 1 could have gone either way. Vitali didn't dominate Lewis at all, Vitali got beat up and was wobbling around the ring like a guy who drank 26 pints at the end of the 6th. If lewis turned up in shape it wouldn't have been close.
