Comments Thread For: Wilder's Coach: Joshua is Right in Line To Get Knocked Out By Deontay

Malik Scott, head trainer for Deontay Wilder, felt Anthony Joshua had a fair performance against Jermaine Franklin. Last month at the O2 Arena in London, Joshua picked up a twelve round unanimous decision over Franklin to snap a two-fight losing streak.

Would rather see Wilder get beat up and ktfo by Fury again instead of this mismatch

Friggin goons - look at how his team even uses his first and last name together in conversation. "But we'll have to see how those talks evolve with Deontay Wilder We just made for clear to them. Our message was, 'AJ is ready for all of those fights and is happy to agree to a Deontay Wilder fight in December.' And we'll see if we can close terms in the next couple of weeks."

Id prefer to see Josh ko wilder in july. But in December is ok I guess.Actually Josh might just decide toy with deontay and punish him for 12 rounds

Umm....what about Fury coach, he wants a cash-out fight too?

Wilder got stopped by Fury because Wilder came in heavy. Wilder came in at 214 in their first fight, didn't get tired and wasn't really hurt. If Wilder vs Fury happened again and Wilder came in light he would stopped Fury.

Fury fought a very negative fight in the first fight until he got dropped in the last round and he realised Wilder is hopeless on the backfoot under a modicum of pressure, it's nothing to do with his weight and everything to do with his style.

There is a reason he hasn't fought anyone with REAL power, who's capable of pressuring him to any real degree.

Arguably the biggest puncher he's ever faced is Helenius who just doesn't have the skills to deliver said power or the defensive prowess or chin to keep him in a fight...

I really hope Joshua gets his mind right for a showdown with Wilder. Some people write him off, but he does have the power and the skill to KO Deontay. Wilder has the power to KO Joshua, but not necessarily the skill.
