Benavidez, Sr may be onto something here. Which is probably the main reason why we will never see Canelo fight his son.

Contrary to what Floyd stans will tell you, Canelo's prime was from GGG II - Plant, ages 28-31, just like most athletes.

He didn't look good against Plant because the ring was much bigger than when he fought clenelo, and the ref allowed excessive clinching that should've got him disqualified. Hearn and alvaroid probably paid that ref to set-up another fight with plant

Canelo's body looked flat. I think once u start using things like Clenbuterol, and then u stop, the body never really achieves peak fitness again, it will always want the steroids, and ur energy will drop to levels lower than it was b4 u ever put the steroids in ur body. Its better to do what u can without drugs and leave all that kinda BS alone.
