Now, I think this is only a partly true statement. I agree with you. I believe Al Haymon is the one who is holding up this fight because he cannot deliver Terence's guarantee of $20-25 Million. Where is going to get that type of money from? He definitely won't get it from Showtime.

Al likes to pay his fighters a very small guarantee in advance with the balance of their purse coming on the upside or the back end; Which is through the percentages of the fight's total gross. Since Bud only wants a guaranteed flat fee and financial transparency. I think that is what holding this fight up.

Mayweather doesn't have anything to do with this or anything pertaining to Spence's career. What Al Haymon needs to do is try to reach out to Bob Arum and see would he be willing to assume some of the risks for this fight; In exchange that Crawford drops his lawsuit against Top Rank.

Outside of maybe one fighter, the guys that Canelo handpicked at 175 aren't necessarily known to be knock out artists. Bivol isn't known to be a knock out artist. He made the mistake in picking Bivol in that Bivol is a legit light heavyweight. You stop smoking crack with your mom's.
