Tank vs. Shakur is THE FIGHT to make, but it ain't all up to Tank! It's up to Floyd, Arum, and Haymon! I hope Tank can get them to do it! Floyd worked with Oscar, but I don't know if he can deal with Arum? God, I hope so!

Floyd?? What the hell are you talking about..

Tank is no longer signed to Floyd.. Floyd had absolutely nothing to do with making the Ryan vs Tank deal.

Floyd even kicked Tank out of the TMT gym during training camp, you are completely out of the loop.

Nah. Tank is the A-side like Shakur said, he should be left with making the final decision.
Shakur can beg and beg and beg and still nothing will happen until Tank says yes.
Besides, begging will put you in a very disadvantaged situation and won't be able to say no
to every condition Tank's team would impose on you. You know that, right?

Shakur recognizing that Tank is the A-side is one of the critical aspects of making the fight happen. So many fights fall through due to ego, glad to see that Shakur knows where he stands. IMO this is one of the best fights in the sport, far more interesting than Tank-Garcia

“He can pick and choose right now. He’s at that point. He’s like at the Floyd Mayweather point where he can go, ‘I’ll fight him, I’ll fight him, but I’ll wait to fight him.’

lol tank has been like that from day 1

whats the point in taking big risks out there if u can get to where u want to other ways

If Shakur keeps this mindset, he will end up getting the Tank fight before Devin can, because Haney's father is going to be an ****** to deal with in negotiations. And I'm not talking about a rehydration clause because Tank couldn't make Devin take that, because Haney's the undisputed champion and he wouldn't be physically able to. I'm speaking about splits on purse, PPV, gate, and everything number wise, Bill Haney talks as if he's going to demand the most, and its not a feasible way of thinking because Devin can't sell out a dive bar and doesn't have a fan friendly style, although I find it enjoyable, many don't.

As for them DOGS at 140, Davis is gonna turn poodle and not fight there any longer unless he pulls bs stipulations there.
For all thebtalent he has, it sure seems to most that he truly doesnt believe in himself w/all the buffoonery he and his team pull.

Could not disagree more. Belts in this day and age are throw-away trinkets signifying absolutely nothing. Legacy is about who you fight and who you do not.

Haney deserves credit, but is hovering around a couple of decent names and now Lomachenko. He is still plenty young and he can do so much.

Lomachenko has possibly the best resume, but it can be argued has not looked his best against the best he fought. I think he needs this win more than Haney in some strange way.

Both Davis and Stevenson have a chance to write an amazing journey going forward. If Davis uses his exciting style and monster fan base to line up 2 legit fights for every throwaway or so (not every fight has to be against elite), no one will care at all who holds what belt. If Stevenson steps up and makes the best look silly with his skill set, no one will care who holds what waist trinket.

Piss on the belts. Let's see the top fight the top and let them keep the money for their efforts that would otherwise be "sanctioning fees" for these leech organizations.

And then they kissed and made up! Maybe you missed that part? Floyd and Ellerbe are still part of the team! They might not have a contract, but they have his ear! Hopefully all parties can reach an agreement! Fighting Shakur is the best fight at 135 now!

Tank doesn't move unless Al Haymon is onboard! It should be easy to make, since Fulton is fightng Inoue on ESPN, and in Japan! Bob owes Al one! Shakur doesn't have to beg for anything because he's lined up for the winner of Haney vs. Loma. Tank is the A-side, so he could have the Haney vs. Loma winner too, but I think Tank vs. Shakur is the best fight that can be made other than Fury vs. Usyk, Canelo vs. Benavidez, and Spence vs. Crawford!
