Yup it was what a great PPV I was at my brothers house watching with a couple people. Fun night

While it sucks at catchweigjts what sucks is Lara did an interview himself saying he wants a fight with Danny at 155. that's facts

Logic leads me to believe that Lara is saying that, because he want's that decent payday so badly.
He might also be relying on his better boxing skill's to thoroughly out class Danny Garcia.
Lara might be making a mistake in accepting the the catch weight, while Danny is making a mistake in stipulating a catch weight.

This could very well be Lara’s last fight. Is there any other fighter he could’ve made as much money with at this stage? Probably not. He would’ve jumped through hoops if asked.

My thought's pretty much, except for the statement that this is Lara's last fight, even thought it might be.
There's still the possibility that he might try to get another payday or two after this fight, before he call's it a career.

I simply can't get invested in this one. I'm not a fan of either fighter, and I don't particularly like the style match-up. Then you add the catch-weight BS to devalue it all. Also, why is it scheduled so far in advance? They need THAT much time to get prepared? Or is a SHO budget issue?

Just because you can match two notables name together...doesn't mean you should. Both guys seem to have one foot out the door, and hopefully this will be the end. One's doing it for money, and the other's doing it to artificially enhance his legacy.

My goodness, if he sticks around longer than this… I’m surprised Lara still wants it. Landy has a reputation for being boring, but he’s been in some rough contests: P. Will and Hurd, to name just two. I have to believe Lara considers Garcia a safe enough bet for the money involved.
