    JMM/Hatton: Not Happening

    Ain't happeneing guys. Seriously wtf.

Ricky fighting a guy that basically beat Pacquiao? Who annihilated his legacy in under six minutes? Get ****in real.

If Ricky fights again, it'll be a competitive but winnable fight in Manchester against the likes of Juan Diaz or even a rematch with Paulie Malignaggi.

I'm not saying I don't want to see it. It would be interesting at 140 and very interesting at 147, but I dont see Hatton taking the risk.

The only reason I see him taking the fight is that defeating Marquez would restore his career and bring interest in more fights, but I don't think he even wants that.

I can see why Juan wants it; a win against Kastidis or John doesnt mean **** compared to a win against Hatton.

....but this is one fight that's only going to happen on the boxing scene forums.

JMM on this, tho not as quick as Pacquiao

JMM will be struggling in early rounds since Hatton will force himself over

    JMM KO Ricky 8-10 rounds

I totally disagree. Like you said, it would be a big win for Hatton. On top of that JMM is older, he's still smaller compared to Hatton, the fight will be in Manchester, JMM is orthodox unlike Pac who was a Southpaw, and Floyd may have takened something out of JMM. I think its a good fight for both guys and I actually think it may be harder for JMM. If I was him in would take on a less physical fight for my comeback but he probably figures that at his age he has no time to waste and you might as well get the money while its there

I can see it happening. JMM wants it bad and after a while out of the ring, I think Hatton could feel the hunger inside once again. I want to see it. Hatton's strength and size will give JMM problems and his unusual mauling style will take Dinamita a few rounds to get used to, but JMM will adjust and KO Hatton.

          Lame thread.

Marquez wants the fight, Hatton stated Marquez would be his next opponent after Pacquiao so he's obviously keen.

It all depends upon whether Hatton wants to fight again. If he does, then it's ON.

I hate to pull triangular theory on this and style make fights but...

JMM - competitive win vs Diaz

Diaz - very competitive just win over Malinaggi

            Malinaggi - Obliterated by Hatton.

given the results between those fighters at the weight i don't see how this is a JMM blowout. Pac has clearly moved up weight easily, JMM hasn't. JMM is still a featherweight fighting at higher weights. Hatton Vs Diaz or Malinaggi would result in more one sided beatdowns.

Besides hatton isn't looking for any more fights so you'll have to wait for 6 months at least before seeing if they will get it on.

JMM's optimum weight is 135 IMO. It would be a fight at 140. JMM must be favored though.

I think there's a good chance it'll happen .It's only southpaws Hatton's really struggled with bar Floyd and JMM only been a lightweight . Collazo Urango McGee and Pacquiao .
