Not just TR, remember Issac Cruz and William Zepeda turned down a shot to fight Shakur Stevenson!

Who has a voluntary title defense? Prograis.

Who has a title opportunity and gets to skip the eliminator process? Paro.

Meanwhile, Barboza/Ramirez are twiddling their thumbs on the sidelines. Ramirez and Barboza are chronically inactive, and all TR can do is recycle Pedraza/Commey. The obvious match-up to make is Barboza/Ramirez. Let's see if TR is willing to pay them exactly what they want. I suspect that TR wants another promoter to cover their cost, but no other promoter will bid high enough.

Ramirez just fought, but I don't disagree about Bob being cheap, except for the fighters that he loves like Loma. I'm just noting the bigger fights that he could have at Top Rank with Teo, Taylor, Ramirez, and a host of others at 140.

Ramirez fought once in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. The pandemic is partly to blame for everyone's inactivity, but it has also shown how complacent many boxers are.

Teo/Taylor is the most significant fight that TR can offer, and we don't know if both will be with TR much longer.

Sanctioning bodies need to penalize boxers who enter purse-bids and then renege when their promoter doesn't win or the money isn't to their liking.
Right? Barboza claims he is worth more money yet his own promoter bid LESS than Matchroom did.

He could possibly get Ryan Garcia though. That's a big payday.

Zepeda hasn't turned anything down. The others did. Common denominator, Rick Mirigian. Overestimating his fighters worth.

Catterall already has a fight lined up, before Programs signed. He'll most likely get the winner.

Ramirez will be waiting for Lopez if he can beat Taylor. Catterall has a fight at the moment.

Three reasons there. Pandemic, got beat, got married.
