I am of fan of his but i paid for a ticket due a refund that was poor even for sparring. This American style is not suiting him

I honestly rate Buatsi but he needs to be fighting 3 or, ideally, 4 times a year. Fighting once a year means every time you fight you're shaking off ring-rust & every time you fight your biggest worry is the scales. Please just BE ACTIVE!

Bit of a hiding to nothing that fight.

He was comfortable but so one paced. Never went up through the gears or tried to force a stoppage by maintaining attacks and putting them together.

It is one of those fights that maybe watching it on tele doesn't tell the story. Surely he felt a punch from his opponent and felt he couldn't take liberties in addition to potentially having a sketchy camp or something and worrying about his gas tank.

I can't remember an instance that Buatsi had his man hurt.

That said he looked extremely comfortable after 10.

He needs to be fighting Yarde, Arthur, Azeez, Smith really or it is hard to see why people will remain interested in him.

He's a quiet kind of man and has a muck and nettles kind of style.

He star will only shine when he's put in acid tests because I suspect he's hard as f.uck and when the war is on he's going to go.

Fighting Beterbiev was not a good option at that time but he needs the domestic fights.

I could see him left behind by Whitaker in 18 months if not. Whitaker is just more interesting.
